Coach Mandi Kowal aka "Coach K"

Coach Mandi Kowal, based out of Eastern Iowa, brings 31 years of coaching experience to our team. Certified as a coach in rowing, triathlon, cycling and swimming, Coach K is a modern renaissance woman! Responsible for the success of athletes at the regional, national and world level, she is on the DSMWHM team to make sure that every woman (willing) has access to proper training support and professional insight, to accomplished their goals on race day. 

In addition to writing our 10 week training plans, Coach K will give tips via our social media feed, can respond to questions submitted on our contact page, and will be at the race to help get you through your DSMWHM journey!
